13th ASEF Public Diplomacy Training – Join in Singapore for Free

Applications are now open for the 13th ASEF Public Diplomacy Training 2025, a fully funded training program hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore. This unique program blends virtual learning and in-person training, aiming to strengthen public diplomacy between Asia and Europe.

The initiative includes a one-month online course followed by a 5-day residential training in Singapore, featuring workshops, expert-led sessions, and a cultural tour. If you’re a current or aspiring diplomat with a strong interest in Asia-Europe relations, this is a valuable opportunity to develop your skills in public diplomacy, communication, and international engagement.

Program Structure

1. Online Training (15 Sept – 20 Oct 2025)
Participants will build foundational knowledge in public diplomacy, strategic communication, and regional collaboration through online modules and interactive discussions.

2. In-Person Training (1–5 Dec 2025)
Held in Singapore, this segment includes hands-on workshops, case studies, networking opportunities, and a cultural immersion experience.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, you must:

Be a national of an Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) member country
Be an early- or mid-career diplomat working in relevant departments or institutions
Hold a Master’s degree, or a Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of diplomatic experience
Have professional involvement in Asia-Europe cooperation
Demonstrate strong English skills
Show interest in public diplomacy, communications, or public affairs
