Eisenhower Fellowships is now accepting applications for the 2026 Global Program! This prestigious leadership exchange brings together a select group of changemakers from around the world for a transformative, nearly six-week fellowship in the United States.
What is the Eisenhower Fellowships Global Program?
Set to begin in early April 2026 and conclude by mid-May 2026, this hybrid fellowship (in-person and virtual) offers visionary leaders a unique opportunity to:
- Develop an impactful project
- Build lasting professional connections
- Collaborate with peers in the U.S. and across the world
- Join a powerful global network of 1,800+ active Eisenhower Fellows
This immersive leadership journey is designed to empower emerging trailblazers with tools, relationships, and inspiration to amplify their impact globally.
Who Should Apply?
Eisenhower Fellowships seeks dynamic individuals who have:
- A proven track record of leadership
- A vision for positive global change
- A strong commitment to the mission of building a peaceful, just, and prosperous world through dialogue and collaboration
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be between 32 and 45 years old (flexibility offered for outstanding candidates outside this range)
- Be proficient in English
- Hold citizenship or have resided for at least five years in the country they wish to represent (those residing in the U.S. are not eligible)
- Make a full-time commitment to the program during the fellowship period
- Have approval from their employer to take leave during the program
- NOT have participated in another fellowship within the past two years
Note: Children and spouses are not permitted to accompany Fellows during the program. EF does not provide funding for spousal travel.
If you do not reside in or hold citizenship in an active EF network country, you must demonstrate regional impact and secure a recommendation from an EF Fellow.
