The Innovation Cup is where science meets entrepreneurship, offering participants hands-on experience in innovation, research commercialization, and strategic thinking—guided by experts from one of the world’s leading science and technology companies.

How the Program Works
Application Phase
Submit your application by January 31, 2026 to be considered for the Innovation Cup summer camp.
Team Formation
Selected participants are grouped into interdisciplinary teams to develop solutions in focus areas such as:

Innovation Camp
Teams take part in workshops, mentoring sessions, and expert-led discussions to refine their ideas and develop strong business plans.
Final Pitch & Awards
Business plans are evaluated by senior Merck researchers and managers. Winning teams receive cash prizes and potential opportunities for further development.
