Applications are now open for the APRIGF Fellowship 2025, a fully funded opportunity to participate in the Asia Pacific Regional Internet Governance Forum (APRIGF) in Kathmandu, Nepal. The 4-day event will bring together participants from across the Asia-Pacific region to engage in discussions on pressing Internet governance issues both regionally and globally.
This prestigious fellowship offers a platform for students, professionals, policymakers, civil society members, and other stakeholders to deepen their understanding of Internet governance and collaborate with experts in the field.

Fellowship Benefits
Selected fellows will receive either full or partial sponsorship, which includes:
- Round-trip airfare
- Free accommodation during the conference
- A $100 USD stipend
Who Can Apply?
Applicants must reside in one of the eligible countries in the Asia-Pacific region, including:
- South Asia: India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Maldives
- Southeast Asia: Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, etc.
- East Asia: China, Japan, South Korea, Mongolia, Taiwan
- Central Asia: Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan
- Oceania: Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Samoa, Papua New Guinea, and other Pacific islands

Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a resident of an eligible country in the Asia-Pacific region
- Should have an interest or background in Internet Governance
- Open to students, civil society members, government officials, private sector professionals, academia, and the technical community
- Must meet Nepal’s visa and entry requirements if applicable
- Selected fellows will receive an official invitation and accommodation letter
