The Asia Pacific Space Leader Award (AP-SLA) 2025 is now open for applications, offering young professionals the chance to attend the 11th Asia Pacific Space Generation Workshop (AP-SGW) — fully funded in Mactan, Cebu, Philippines, from 15–16 November 2025.
Organized by the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC), this prestigious program recognizes exceptional contributions to the Asia Pacific space sector and provides an incredible networking platform for future space leaders. No IELTS and no application fee are required — making this an accessible opportunity for aspiring space professionals across the region.

Eligible Countries
Applicants must reside in one of the following Asia Pacific countries:
Afghanistan, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Asia Pacific Space Generation Workshop 2025 and the Asia Pacific Space Leader Award (AP-SLA), you must:
- Be a resident of one of the eligible countries listed above.
- Be a registered SGAC member (free registration available on the SGAC website).
- Be aged between 18 and 35 years old by 16 December 2025.
- Have prior involvement with SGAC, such as:
- Attending SGAC events
- Volunteering for SGAC projects or events
- Serving in SGAC leadership roles (e.g., National Point of Contact, Regional Coordinator)
- Attending SGAC events
