The AGA Khan Foundation Canada (AKFC) is now accepting applications for the Global Leadership Program 2025, a fully funded leadership development opportunity taking place in Ottawa, Canada, from November 2 to 6, 2025. This intensive five-day seminar brings together 40 exceptional individuals from various sectors and backgrounds to explore key global and local issues, build meaningful connections, and enhance leadership skills for a more inclusive and sustainable world.

Program Objectives
The Global Leadership Program is designed to:
- Empower participants with the tools, insights, and networks needed to lead change.
- Examine the complex forces—social, economic, political, cultural, and environmental—that shape quality of life.
- Discuss the role of Canada in solving global challenges through diplomacy, development, and aid.
- Use climate change as a lens to understand global politics and Canada’s response.
- Address major global shifts, including the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
- Promote values of pluralism, gender equality, and truth and reconciliation.
Program Format
Participants will:
- Engage with leading thinkers and practitioners in dynamic learning sessions.
- Collaborate with peers across sectors.
- Develop the mindset and skillset to be effective, ethical, and inclusive leaders.
- Receive a Certificate of Participation upon completion.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident (Canadians living abroad are also eligible).
- Be fluent in English.
- Open to professionals and individuals from any sector or background.
- Demonstrate a strong interest in learning and contributing to a more peaceful, inclusive, and prosperous world.
