Swisscom is hiring a Cloud Platform Engineer in Rotterdam, Netherlands, offering a competitive salary of €70,000–€76,000 per year and full relocation support for you and your family. About the Role
As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will join Swisscom’s Internal Cloud Platform team, developing and maintaining internal AWS services for DevOps teams. You’ll work with cutting-edge technologies, including serverless architectures (Lambda, Step Functions), data services (DynamoDB, S3), and AI tools (Bedrock, SageMaker). Your work will make AWS services secure, compliant, and easy to use for internal developers.
You will also:
- Design and deliver platform-level cloud capabilities
- Automate infrastructure using Terraform, CDK, and CloudFormation
- Ensure quality with unit, regression, and platform testing
- Integrate AI-driven services into development and platform offerings
Key Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of hands-on AWS experience
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience with serverless (Lambda) and CloudFormation
- Familiarity with AI services (Bedrock, SageMaker) is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and team-oriented mindset
- Excellent written and spoken English
