The WHS is offering a fully-funded Stipend Program aimed at supporting up to 15 individuals from low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) and those with lived experiences in health-related fields.

About the Stipend Program

This initiative seeks to empower early-career professionals, students, researchers, and advocates who are actively engaged in global healthBy providing financial support, the program ensures that voices from underrepresented communities contribute meaningfully to the summit’s discourse, aligning with WHS’s commitment to health equity and inclusive dialogue

What the Stipend Covers

Selected participants will receive comprehensive support, including:

Round-trip economy airfare to and from Berlin.
Accommodation for four nights (October 11–15) near the summit venue, including breakfast.
Full registration for WHS 2025, encompassing access to all sessions and events.
Reimbursement of up to €200 for visa and passport expenses.
Miscellaneous expenses coverage up to €200 for local transportation and other incidental expenses.
Invitation to the exclusive Kick-Off Reception on October 1.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

Nationality and Residence: Be from and reside in an LMIC as classified by the World Bank for 2024–2025, or possess a unique lived experience relevant to global health.
Visa Eligibility: Qualify for a short-term Schengen visa.
Professional Background: Demonstrate active involvement in global health through work, research, or advocacy.
Language Proficiency: Have a good command of English, as the summit proceedings will be conducted in English.

Application Process

Interested candidates must submit the following documents:

A Curriculum Vitae (CV) detailing academic and professional experiences.
A Motivation Letter explaining the applicant’s interest in global health and the summit. .
Proof of active involvement in the field of global health.
