The University of Malta, one of Europe’s leading institutions, is offering fully funded scholarships for Masters by Research and Ph.D. programs for the 2025 academic year. These scholarships provide exceptional opportunities for international students from outside the EU/EEA to pursue advanced studies with significant tuition fee waivers.
About the University of Malta Scholarships
The University of Malta aims to attract high-achieving students from non-EU/EEA countries by offering tuition fee waivers ranging from 40% to 100%. These waivers cover the standard duration of the program; however, certain programs may still require additional bench fees. If an extension of the study period is needed, it may not qualify for a fee waiver.
Eligibility Criteria
- Open to non-EU/EEA applicants who have been unconditionally accepted into a full-time or part-time Master by Research or Ph.D. program at the University of Malta.
- Students already enrolled in a program at UM are not eligible.
- Applicants for Professional Doctorates are not eligible.
- Candidates must be prepared for an online interview with the UM Postgraduate Scholarships Board.
