Are you a passionate climate activist or changemaker between 18–30 years old? This is your chance to make your voice heard on the global stage. Applications are now open for the COP30 Simulation Fellowship, a fully funded opportunity hosted by The British University in Egypt (BUE) in partnership with UNDP Egypt.
This unique program brings together youth from across the globe to simulate real COP30 sessions, engage with climate leaders, and shape youth-driven climate declarations to be presented at COP30 in Brazil.

What You’ll Gain
Hands-On Global Experience:
- Simulate COP30 negotiations alongside 150 students from across the world.
- Collaborate with climate negotiators, policy experts, and civil society representatives.
Skill Development:
- Join a two-week virtual training covering climate diplomacy, negotiation skills, public speaking, and conflict resolution.
- Receive expert mentorship from Egyptian and international academics and professionals.
Immersive Summit in Egypt:
- Selected participants will travel to Cairo for a 6-day in-person COP30 simulation summit hosted at BUE.
- Debate real climate proposals, represent countries, and draft youth-led climate declarations.
Influence Real-World Policy:
- Contribute to official declarations to be presented at COP30 in Brazil (Nov 2025).
- Around 20 outstanding participants will be selected to attend COP30 in person and present youth-driven climate solutions at both official and informal platforms.
Certification:
Earn a recognized certificate for completing the program, highlighting your expertise in:
