Are you passionate about climate action and dreaming of seeing the Northern Lights? Here’s your chance! Applications are now open for the HKH Arctic Youth Leadership Forum 2025 in Reykjavik, Iceland — a fully funded international youth program that brings together young changemakers from the Hindu Kush Himalaya (HKH) and Arctic regions.
Organized by ICIMOD and Arctic Circle, this unique program aims to empower youth leaders tackling the urgent challenges of climate change in the world’s most climate-sensitive regions. The Arctic is warming nearly 4x faster than the global average, while the HKH region is warming at twice the rate — both with major implications for our future.
This forum provides an opportunity for 12 passionate youth to collaborate, learn, and lead climate initiatives across borders. All expenses — including travel, accommodation, and participation — are fully covered.
