Are you a passionate changemaker between the ages of 18 and 30? Here’s your chance to travel fully funded to Strasbourg, France and be part of the global conversation on saving democracy! Applications are now open for the Youth Delegation to the World Forum for Democracy 2025, hosted by the Council of Europe.
Event Theme: “Democracy at Risk: How Can We Revive It?”
The 2025 edition of the Forum will focus on the growing gap between citizens and democratic institutions — a crisis that threatens the foundations of democracy. As public trust declines, civic participation shrinks, and authoritarian tendencies rise. The Forum will explore bold, innovative solutions to reconnect citizens with democracy and reinvigorate civic life.
What Is the World Forum for Democracy?
Held annually at the Palais de l’Europe, the Forum brings together global leaders, activists, youth, and civil society organizations for high-level debates, interactive workshops, and inspiring storytelling sessions. It serves as a launchpad for innovative ideas that drive lasting democratic change.
As a youth delegate, you’ll join a global network of 50 young activists from diverse backgrounds and countries, each committed to reshaping the future of democracy.
