About the Youth Assembly 2026
The AFS Youth Assembly is one of the world’s leading international platforms for young leaders to discuss global challenges and collaborate on innovative solutions. The 2026 theme, “Rise. Reimagine. Rebuild: A World for All,” will focus on inclusive development, climate resilience, and strengthening global cooperation.

Participants are expected to be available between 10–15 August 2026, including travel days.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply, applicants must:
- Be 18 to 35 years old at the time of the programme
- Be actively working, studying, or researching in fields related to health, climate, or development
- Demonstrate leadership potential and a track record of social impact
- Have not previously attended the AFS Youth Assembly
- Be able to communicate and participate fully in English
- Be eligible to obtain a Swiss visa if required
