Financial Benefits

Key Responsibilities
As a trainee, you will support UNITAR’s communications and outreach activities, including:
- Designing Visual Content: Social media graphics, flyers, promotional emails, brochures, and more.
- Website & Social Media Management: Update content on UNITAR’s website and social media platforms.
- Video Editing: Use tools like Adobe Premiere Pro and Canva to edit and subtitle videos.
- Content Planning: Assist with communication strategies for events and campaigns.
- Research & Outreach: Identify new opportunities for UNITAR’s visibility and engagement.
- Alumni Engagement: Support LinkedIn group activity and alumni communications.
- Event Media Support: Capture photos and videos at UNITAR events.
- Email Campaigns: Manage mass mailings via platforms like Mailjet.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be enrolled in or have recently graduated (within 2 years) from a university program in Communications, PR, Marketing, Graphic Design, Video Production, International Relations, or a related field.
- Have basic proficiency in computer tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet applications.
- Possess strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Have a creative mindset and a good sense of visual storytelling (preferred).
Preferred Technical Skills
Experience in the following is a big plus:
- Graphic Design Software: Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva
- Productivity Tools: Trello, Hootsuite, Notion
