Who Can Apply?
The fellowship is designed for highly qualified postdoctoral researchers from all over the world (except temporarily from Brazil), who:

- Have internationally recognized research experience, demonstrated through publications, project leadership, or academic roles.
- Can provide two academic references, preferably with international perspectives.
- Have not resided in Germany for more than 6 months in the 18 months prior to application.
- Are proficient in English (for STEM fields) or German (for Humanities/Social Sciences/Medicine).
- Have secured a research host in Germany with written confirmation of project supervision and institutional support.
Note: German nationals may only apply under specific conditions (e.g., 5+ years of continuous work/residence abroad).
