Hosted by the Vienna BioCenter (VBC) in Austria, this prestigious summer school offers a nine-week intensive research experience for Bachelor’s and Master’s students from all nationalities.
The program runs from July 1 to August 31, 2026, and provides participants with hands-on research training at one of Europe’s leading life science research hubs. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the VBC Summer School 2026, applicants must meet the following requirements:

- Must be an undergraduate or master’s student
- Enrolled in a BA (Hons), BSc, MSc, or Master’s degree program
- Completed at least two years of a Bachelor’s degree or one year of a Master’s degree
- Majoring in a Life Sciences-related field (e.g., Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Chemistry)
- Strong academic performance

How to Apply for the VBC Summer School 2026
