This program offers international students outside the European Economic Area (EEA) the opportunity to pursue a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree at one of the top Dutch universities.
The NL Scholarship is funded by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science, together with various Dutch universities and applied sciences institutions. It provides financial support and opens the door to high-quality education in one of Europe’s most innovative and globally connected countries.

What Does the NL Scholarship Cover?
The NL Scholarship provides a €5,000 grant towards the first year of study at a participating Dutch institution.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Netherlands NL Scholarship 2026/27, you must:
- Be a non-EEA national.
- Apply for a full-time bachelor’s or master’s program at a participating institution.
- Meet the admission requirements of your chosen university.
- Not hold a degree from any Dutch educational institution.
How to Apply
You don’t need to apply separately for the NL Scholarship. Simply apply for admission to any of the participating Dutch universities, and your scholarship eligibility will be automatically considered.
