The Mastercard Foundation, in partnership with Arizona State University (ASU), is inviting young African changemakers to apply for a fully funded 2-year master’s program designed to equip leaders with cutting-edge skills in technology, innovation, and sustainable development.
Between 2025 and 2030, a total of 120 outstanding African professionals will be trained at ASU, with 30 scholarships available for the 2026/2027 academic year.

Applicants can choose from a wide range of technology and innovation-focused master’s degrees, including:
- MS Global Technology and Development
- MS Information Technology
- MS Human Systems Engineering – Intelligent Systems
- MS User Experience
- MSc Computer Science
- MS Data Science, Analytics & Engineering
- MS Robotics & Autonomous Systems
- MS Civil, Environmental & Sustainable Engineering
- MS Clean Energy Systems
- MS Modern Energy Production & Sustainable Use

This opportunity is open to citizens of African countries who are:
- Aged 18–33
- Bachelor’s degree holders (earned by August 2026)
- Strong academic performers with proven leadership and community service
- Committed to returning home to contribute to Africa’s development
- Able to live in Phoenix, Arizona, for the full program duration
