The METI Japan Internship Program 2025 is now open for applications! This fully funded internship is organized by the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry (METI), Japan, and is aimed at undergraduate and graduate students from OECD/DAC countries. The program gives young professionals the chance to gain hands-on experience in Japanese companies, with all major costs covered.
There’s no application fee, and IELTS is not required. Up to 100 interns will be selected and matched with host companies across Japan for a 6-week placement.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be from an OECD/DAC country
- Aged between 18–40 years (as of Aug 25, 2025)
- Enrolled in or recently graduated from a higher institution
- Proficient in English
- Able to provide proof of enrollment/graduation & recommendation letter
- Available for the full internship period
