The winner will receive a fully funded trip to Tallinn, Estonia to attend the Lab’s final event at Tallinn University from October 8–11, 2025.

Essay Theme:
Reflect on how borders are shifting in the modern world. Explore ideas like:
- The role of borders in shaping space and power
- “Volumetric borders” – beyond lines on a map
- New ways of understanding control and division through tech, climate, and more
Requirements:
- Open to all nationalities
- Essay length: 1,200–1,500 words
- Must present a clear argument, grounded in theory
- You may include visuals (photos, drawings, poems, etc.)
- Original, unpublished work only

- Include a separate cover letter with your name, affiliation, essay title, and list of included materials.
