Applications are now open for the 2026 CNIO Summer Training Program in Spain, a fully funded research opportunity for undergraduate students from around the world. The program will take place in Madrid, Spain, at the prestigious Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO).
Each year, CNIO invites talented students interested in biomedicine and life sciences research to participate in an intensive summer training program. Selected participants will spend 8 weeks working alongside experienced researchers, gaining hands-on laboratory experience and mentorship.
For the 2026 cohort, only four international students will be selected to join the program from June 29 to August 21, 2026. The best part is that the program is fully funded, meaning participants will receive financial support during their stay in Spain.
Another advantage is that there is no application fee and no IELTS requirement, making the program accessible to many students worldwide.
