Led by Branch Partner Dave, a qualified Vet GDP Advisor, this practice provides fantastic mentorship opportunities for both new and experienced vets.
Job Details
- Position: Veterinary Surgeon
- Location: Horncastle, Lincolnshire, United Kingdom
- Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
- Working Hours: 40 hours over 4 days/week
- Weekend Schedule: 1 in 3 half weekends or 1 in 6 full weekends

Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional clinical care in consultations and surgical procedures
- Offer compassionate and clear communication with clients
- Ensure compliance with clinical, operational, and regulatory standards
- Create individualised treatment plans with transparent cost estimates
- Mentor and support junior staff, especially student nurses
- Participate in clinical handovers and coordinate care continuity
- Share best practices across the Medivet network
Your Qualifications
- Registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS)
- Proven experience in clinical care and client service
- Strong teamwork and leadership abilities
- Passion for supporting nursing staff and training initiatives
- Confidence in influencing and coaching peers
- Committed to fostering a positive and progressive clinical culture
