Job Location and Schedule
- Location: David Abreu Management II, LLC – Booth PH1, PH2, PH3 “East”, 1350 Bella Oaks Lane, Napa, CA 94558
- Start Dates: February 16, March 15, and April 20, 2026 (based on worker group)
- End Date: October 31, 2026
- Hours: 7:00 A.M. – 2:30 P.M., 40 hours per week
- Pay: $18.71/hour (non-harvest), $24/hour during harvest season
Wine Grape Jobs – Duties and Responsibilities
Mendoza Bros. seasonal workers will perform a variety of vineyard tasks throughout the growing and harvest season. Duties include:
- Growing Season (Jan–July 2026): Hoeing, pruning, weed removal, vine suckering, leaf removal, and canopy management
- Non-Harvest Season (Aug–mid-Sept 2026): Early crop removal, irrigation, fence and trellis maintenance, post replacement, and planting new vineyards
- Harvest Season (mid-Sept–Oct 2026): Picking wine grapes, sorting grapes, operating ATVs for vineyard maintenance, and performing activities directly related to grape harvesting
- Additional Work: Fungicide, herbicide, and fertilizer application; tractor operation; and other vineyard maintenance
All necessary training, gloves, and knee pads are provided at no cost to employees to ensure safety while performing vineyard tasks.
Requirements for Wine Grape Jobs
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Minimum 3 months of experience working with wine grapes
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
- Skilled with hand tools, including cutting knives
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions (rain, cold, high winds)
- Ability to bend, stoop, walk, and stand extensively
- No smoking, alcohol, or firearms in the field or residential housing
