Key Responsibilities
As a Vehicle Mechanic, you will:
- Diagnose and identify vehicle faults accurately.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs.
- Maintain detailed records of work in progress and completed tasks.
- Test parts and systems to ensure proper functioning.
- Carry out basic vehicle care such as oil changes and tyre replacements.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 5+ years of experience in a similar automotive role.
- Formal automotive qualifications (preferred).
- Dealership experience (preferred).
- Knowledge of diesel and petrol engines.
- Confidence in engine rebuilding, head gasket replacement, and timing chain changes.
- Electrical systems knowledge (advantageous).
- Experience working with Jaguar Land Rover, Mercedes, BMW, VW/Audi, or Porsche.
- A valid UK driving license or international driving permit (conversion support available).
- For international applicants: ability to meet Skilled Worker Visa requirements, e.g., IELTS.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
