The DSM-Firmenich Progress Foundation is offering a fully funded scholarship for five exceptional young leaders to attend the One Young World Summit 2025 in Munich, Germany, from November 3–6. This opportunity is aimed at individuals from Africa, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America who are making significant impacts in their communities.
About the Scholarship
The scholarship targets young entrepreneurs and leaders who are driving change in one of the following areas
- Fighting Malnutrition: Initiatives addressing micronutrient deficiencies and ensuring access to nutritious food for vulnerable populations
- Strengthening Community Resilience: Projects that tackle social inequalities and enhance the capacity of communities to withstand challenges
- Protecting and Restoring Ecosystems: Efforts focused on climate action, biodiversity conservation, and safeguarding water systems
What the Scholarship Covers
Selected scholars will receive:
- Access to the One Young World Summit 2025 in Munich.
- Hotel accommodation from October 31 to November.
- Economy-class travel to and from Munich.
- All meals during the conference day.
- Ground transportation between accommodation and the summit venue.
- Participation in a pre-summit program and inclusion in the DSM-Firmenich delegation during the summit.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be aged between 18 and 30 at the time of the summit (exceptions may be considered for outstanding candidates over 30.
- Reside in Africa, Asia-Pacific, or Latin America.
- Have 3–5 years of experience in business, preferably running their own enterprise.
- Be making a positive impact in one of the scholarship’s focus areas.
- Candidates with limited national or international exposure are encouraged to apply.
