The Role: Senior Backend Engineer, Growth
We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Growth team, with a focus on building and improving our Referral and Loyalty Program.
You’ll be part of a small, agile squad including engineers, a Product Manager, and a Product Data Analyst — all working together to deliver features, enhance user experience, and scale our product offering.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend features for our referral and loyalty systems
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define technical solutions and implementation strategies
- Contribute to the planning, execution, and delivery of features, integrations, and platform improvements
- Maintain and optimize existing codebases, ensuring performance and reliability
- Integrate with external service providers for seamless operations
- Write high-quality, tested, and efficient code
About You
We’re looking for an experienced engineer who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments. You might be a great fit if you:
- Have strong backend experience from high-growth startups or tech companies
- Are entrepreneurial and data-driven, with a passion for experimentation
- Are confident in shipping and maintaining backend systems in iterative environments
- Possess deep knowledge of database structures and best practices
- Have cloud-native experience (GCP preferred; AWS or Azure also valuable)
- Are eager to learn and upskill on our tech stack if not already familiar
- Bonus: Experience in Web3 or contributions to open-source projects
