Applications are now open for the Women’s Leadership Programme by the UONGOZI Institute, a fully funded six-month initiative designed to help women overcome leadership challenges and advance to higher-level roles.
About the Programme
This prestigious programme supports both emerging and established African women leaders from all sectors. It focuses on building capacity in:
- Strategic thinking
- Effective communication
- Change leadership
- Resource and people management
- Work-life leadership balance
Participants will gain hands-on tools, coaching, and mentoring to boost their leadership confidence and performance.
Key Features
- Women’s Leadership Forum: A one-day networking event that brings together senior and rising women leaders in Tanzania to exchange strategies for increasing women’s participation in leadership.
- Core Training (6 consecutive days): Focuses on personal growth, leadership branding, strategic decision-making, and executive financial analysis.
- Monthly Coaching & Mentoring (1–4 days/month):
- Coaching: Identify goals, boost self-confidence, and improve performance.
- Mentoring: Learn from seasoned leaders who guide your journey to the top.

Who Can Apply?
This opportunity is open to African women with:
- A minimum of five years in a leadership position
- At least seven years of professional experience
- A bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
