Applications are now open for the Princeton in Asia (PiA) Fellowship 2026–27 cycle, a unique opportunity for young leaders to engage in cross-cultural exchange and professional placements across Asia. The program is designed to foster mutual understanding between Asia and the United States by placing fellows in immersive roles where they live, work, and contribute directly to local communities.
For this round, the program expects to place around 60 fellows in diverse countries including Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Macao, Mongolia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam.

Eligibility Criteria
To apply, candidates must:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree before the fellowship start date (master’s degree holders are eligible; professional terminal degrees such as J.D., M.D., or Ph.D. are not accepted).
- Be proficient in English (native or near-native fluency required for teaching roles).
- Demonstrate adaptability, cross-cultural curiosity, and commitment to meaningful work.
- Be citizens of any country worldwide (visa requirements may affect placements).
- Knowledge of Asian languages is an advantage but not required.
