CEU Master’s Scholarships (by Academic Merit)
- Full or partial tuition fee coverage
- Health insurance
- Monthly stipend: €300–€1,000
CEU Doctoral Scholarships
- Full tuition coverage
- Monthly stipend of €1,880 to support housing and living expenses
- All admitted PhD students are automatically considered for this scholarship
Available Degree Programs
CEU offers a wide range of Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD programs across multiple disciplines. Applicants can choose up to five programs when applying.
Required Documents
When applying for CEU Master’s or Doctoral programs, prepare the following:
- Academic Writing Submission(s)
- Letters of Recommendation
- Academic Records (transcripts)
- CV or Resume
- Proof of English Proficiency (see exemptions below)
- GRE/GMAT (only required for the Department of Economics and Business)
- Completed online CEU application form
English Proficiency Exemption
You do not need to submit proof of English proficiency if:
- English is your first language, OR
- You are a CEU graduate applying to a doctoral program, OR
- Your Bachelor’s/Master’s degree was taught entirely in English.
Eligibility Criteria
- Open to all international students from any country
- Final-year undergraduate students may also apply for Master’s scholarships
- No need to contact professors before applying (supervisors are assigned after selection)
- Applications must be submitted online only

- Master’s Programs: February 4, 2026
- PhD Programs: February 4, 2026

- You can apply to up to five programs
- A non-refundable application fee of €30 applies
