The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at Arizona State University (ASU) is now in its exciting Phase III: Innovation and Technology, designed to empower African youth with the skills and knowledge to drive sustainable development across the continent.
This phase will engage 600 young adults between 2024 and 2030, offering pathways such as in-person and online degrees, English language learning programs with African partner institutions, and certificates in areas like supply chain management and global management. These programs aim to equip African youth with critical technological, entrepreneurial, and leadership skills needed in today’s global landscape.
Innovation and Technology Scholarship – 2026 Application
Through the Mastercard Foundation partnership, ASU is offering 40 fully funded graduate opportunities. These scholarships combine online ASU degrees with in-person support from Kepler College in Rwanda, blending flexible learning with mentorship and community engagement.

- MSE Sustainable Engineering
- MS Information Technology
- MS Business Analytics
- MEd Learning Design and Technologies
