Applications are now open for the 2026 Environmental Peacebuilding Association (EnPAx) Conference Fellows Program. This fully funded opportunity supports emerging professionals to attend the Fourth International Conference on Environmental Peacebuilding in Ottawa, Canada.
The program is designed for students, young researchers, and early-career practitioners who are passionate about the intersection of environment and peace. It offers both financial support and professional training to help participants actively contribute to this growing global field.
About the Fellowship
The EnPAx Fellowship aims to make environmental peacebuilding opportunities more inclusive and accessible, especially for individuals from resource-limited or underrepresented communities. The program includes:
- Virtual training sessions and expert-led workshops
- Mentorship from leading professionals
- Discussions on real-world environmental conflict and peace solutions
- Fully funded travel to attend the in-person conference and training in Ottawa
- Recognition during the conference and access to exclusive networking sessions
Fellows will also undergo intensive, in-person training at the University of Ottawa to build skills in project planning, environmental sustainability, and peacebuilding practices.

Eligibility Criteria
To apply, candidates must:
- Be a student or early-career professional with interest in environmental peacebuilding
- Hold a valid passport and be able to travel to Canada in June 2026
- Be available from June 12–19, 2026, and for follow-up activities in July
- Demonstrate strong motivation and commitment to peace and environmental sustainability
