Scholarship Coverage and Benefits
Selected scholars will receive comprehensive financial support, including:
- Full tuition fee coverage
- Monthly stipend:
- HUF 43,700 for Bachelor’s and Master’s students
- HUF 140,000 for PhD students
- HUF 43,700 for Bachelor’s and Master’s students
- Accommodation support: Free dormitory placement or HUF 40,000/month housing allowance
- Comprehensive health insurance under Hungarian law
- Additional allowances for research, study materials, and academic activities
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the University of Pécs Hungarian Scholarships 2026, applicants must:
- Be non-Hungarian citizens from eligible countries
- Hold the required academic qualifications:
- Secondary school certificate (for Bachelor’s applicants)
- Bachelor’s degree (for Master’s applicants)
- Master’s degree (for Doctoral applicants)
- Secondary school certificate (for Bachelor’s applicants)
- Demonstrate physical and mental fitness
- Provide proof of English proficiency (IELTS not mandatory if previous education was in English)
