The Awaji Youth Federation (AYF) Fellowship 2026 is now open for applications! This is a fully funded, 9-month live-in working and training program held on Awaji Island, Japan. The fellowship brings together young leaders from around the world to work on projects that contribute to regional revitalization and meet the needs of the Japanese workplace.
Participants will live at Manabi no Sato, the home of the Awaji Youth Federation, and engage in a mix of lectures, challenges, and project-based work. Both male and female participants are encouraged to apply. The program is designed to help fellows sharpen their skills in a multicultural environment while making a meaningful impact.

Financial Support & Benefits
The AYF Fellowship is fully funded and provides:
- Monthly Stipend: ¥190,000 + Work Allowance ¥30,000

Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Open to all nationalities
- Bachelor’s or Master’s graduates with some work experience
- Commitment to addressing societal challenges and contributing to AYF projects
- Strong values of hard work, discipline, and care for others
- No language test (IELTS, TOEFL, etc.) required
