Position: Senior / Staff Backend Engineer (Social Team)
What You’ll Work On
- Social feed systems, artist discovery, video creation, and profile features
- High-traffic backend services serving millions of users globally
- APIs, microservices, and cloud-based systems
- Migration from monolith to microservices and cross-cloud platforms
Key Responsibilities
- Own backend systems from design to deployment and optimization
- Build and maintain scalable, high-load social services
- Collaborate with product, frontend, mobile, and backend teams
- Improve performance, reliability, and scalability
- Write clean, testable, production-ready code
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in .NET (C#/F#), Java, Node.js, or Go
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with serverless architectures
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (AWS, Azure, Pulumi, etc.)
- Experience working with microservices and large-scale systems
Nice to Have
- Experience building social platforms or SaaS products
- Experience shipping production systems using AI tools
- Knowledge of CQRS and Event Sourcing
