The residency takes place at the renowned Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Center, offering participants the opportunity to live and work in one of Europe’s most inspiring locations.
The program brings together individuals from diverse fields—including artists, researchers, scientists, writers, and policymakers—to collaborate on innovative ideas that address some of the world’s most pressing challenges. Each year, around 100 leaders and creative thinkers from across the globe are selected to participate in this unique residency.
Participants will spend 26 days at Lake Como, where they will have time, space, and resources to develop new projects, research, and creative work while engaging with other global changemakers.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Have strong English language proficiency
- Submit the entire application in English
- Be available to fully participate during the residency period
- Finalists invited for interviews must provide two letters of recommendation
