Applications are now open for the ASEF Capacity Building Program 2026 in China. Organized by the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF), this fully funded international program brings together young leaders, policymakers, civil society representatives, and gender equality advocates from Asia and Europe.
The program will be held in Kunming, China, from 7–9 September 2026, and aims to strengthen participants’ knowledge, leadership skills, and capacity to promote gender equality and increase women’s participation in leadership and decision-making. Selected participants will receive funding for travel and accommodation, making it an excellent opportunity to engage with experts and changemakers from across two continents.

About the Organizers
The training program is hosted by the Foreign Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Yunnan Province and financially supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China. Eligibility Criteria

- Possess good English communication skills
- Be available to participate fully in all program activities
- Show a commitment to creating positive change in their communities
