Applications are now open for the FAO Global Youth Contest 2026, a global opportunity for young learners to share how FAO eLearning Academy courses have positively impacted their personal, academic, or professional development.
Organized by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the contest invites participants to submit a short written story highlighting how knowledge gained through FAO e-learning courses has helped them create meaningful change in their lives or communities.
Three outstanding winners will receive a fully funded trip to Rome, Italy, to participate in the World Food Forum 2026, scheduled to take place from 12–15 October 2026.

Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the FAO Global Youth Contest 2026, applicants must:
- Be between 18 and 35 years old
- Be from any country or region worldwide
- Be a registered learner of the FAO eLearning Academy
- Have completed one or more FAO e-learning courses
- Hold certified digital badges earned through FAO courses
- Demonstrate how the learning experience contributed to their knowledge, skills, education, career, or community impact
Applicants from underrepresented, vulnerable, and marginalized communities are strongly encouraged to apply.
