This fully funded summer internship is hosted by the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST) and is available for undergraduate and master’s degree students worldwide. The internship spans 8 weeks from July to August 2025, with no application fee required, and IELTS is not necessary.
The GIST Global Intern Program offers students the opportunity to work on research projects in various laboratories at GIST University. The program also includes Korean language classes, cultural activities, and special lectures that enhance the overall internship experience.

Eligibility Criteria
- Open to all nationals
- Undergraduate seniors or Master’s degree students are eligible
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.5 scale) or equivalent
- English-speaking applicants may submit a copy of their passport or a certificate stating that their medium of instruction is English
