This fully funded, four-month residency offers a unique opportunity for international professionals to support and mentor young women leaders at Harpswell’s centers in Phnom Penh.

The Harpswell Leadership Program is a professional development initiative designed to promote women’s leadership, global citizenship, and community empowerment. Participants will live and work in Harpswell’s centers, providing mentorship, language instruction, and academic support to young Cambodian women.
What the Program Covers
All selected residents will receive:
- Free accommodation in Phnom Penh
- All meals (Board included)
- Monthly stipend of $330 USD
- Travel insurance
- A life-changing cultural and professional experience
What You’ll Do
As a Harpswell Leadership Resident, your role includes:
- Teaching the Harpswell Core Curriculum on leadership, ethics, and critical thinking
- Leading weekly discussions on current events, global affairs, and leadership
- Tutoring students in English to help improve fluency and comprehension
- Offering regular office hours for academic and personal mentorship
- Supporting students in developing their leadership projects and goals
- Organizing social and cultural activities to foster community engagement
Who Can Apply?
This opportunity is open to women of all nationalities who meet the following criteria:
- Passionate about women’s leadership and education as a tool for empowerment
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- At least 2 years of professional experience
- Teaching or mentoring experience preferred
- Open to cultural exchange and community building
