The Asian College of Journalism (ACJ), widely regarded as Asia’s leading journalism school, is now accepting applications from students in Sub-Saharan Africa for its ACJ–Bloomberg Postgraduate Diploma in Business and Financial Multimedia Journalism.
Through the ACJ Sub-Saharan Scholarship Program, three merit-based scholarships are available for qualified African students to study journalism in Chennai, India. The program offers intensive training in business, financial, and multimedia journalism and is delivered entirely in English.

Scholarship Coverage
The scholarship is fully funded and includes:
- Full tuition fees
- On-campus accommodation and meals

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a citizen of a Sub-Saharan African country
- Hold a graduate degree in any discipline
- Demonstrate strong written and spoken English proficiency
Application Process
- Applications must be submitted online through the official ACJ application portal.

After an initial review, shortlisted candidates will be invited to:
- An online entrance test conducted in real time
- An online interview via Zoom
Candidates may take the test from home or any location with access to a computer and stable internet.
The entrance test and interview will assess:
- English language proficiency
- General knowledge
- Awareness of current affairs
