Funded by the Government of Canada, this initiative aims to strengthen Canada’s relationships across the Indo-Pacific region by bringing together emerging leaders from government, business, academia, and civil society. Program Objectives
The Indo-Pacific Young Leaders Program aims to:

Eligible Countries
Applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of Indo-Pacific countries, including: Australia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, DPRK, India, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, New Zealand, Pacific Island Countries (14), Pakistan, PRC (China), Philippines, ROK (South Korea), Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Timor Leste, and Vietnam.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Education
- Minimum of an undergraduate degree in a relevant field such as:
- Political Science, Public Policy, International Relations
- Law, Economics, Sociology, History, Geography
- Asian Studies, and other related disciplines

Professional Experience
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in one or more sectors:
