Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be Portuguese nationals or have legal residence status in Portugal
- Be enrolled in or applying for:
- A Higher Technical Professional Course
- A Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s, or Master’s degree (with at least 30 ECTS)
- A Higher Technical Professional Course
- Not already hold a qualification equivalent to or higher than the intended program
- Have a combined household income under €11,049.89 (€12,569.89 if you work part-time)
- Own movable assets below €115,303.20
- Be in good standing with tax and social security authorities
- Students from emergency situations (e.g., Ukraine, Syria) are exempt from income limits and eligible for maximum support (€5,981.73)

- Educational certificates
- Portuguese Taxpayer Number and Social Security Number
- Bank statements as of Dec 31 of the previous year
- Income tax return of the previous year
- Property documents or rental agreement
- Municipal property tax certificate (if applicable)
- Valid IBAN for fund transfer (can be in a parent’s name if you’re a minor)
- Country code if household members hold a foreign NIF
