Applications are now open for the Karibu Africa Grant Program 2025 — a bold, Africa-led funding initiative that supports grassroots efforts to drive systemic change across the continent. Born from a successful three-year pilot, the program officially launched in 2025 and centers African voices in decision-making.
At the heart of this initiative is a collective of African activists, movement leaders, and civil society changemakers committed to funding radical, imaginative, and justice-driven projects. Their goal is to back what they call “constructive troublemaking” — innovative work that challenges systems of injustice and reimagines a more equitable future.

- Program Type: Fully Funded
- Host: Karibu’s African Grantmaking Initiative
