Applications are now open for the ACE Observatory’s Climate Justice Envoys Programme, taking place during two major climate events in Ethiopia:

Africa Climate Week (September 1–6, 2025)
Africa Climate Summit (September 8–10, 2025)

Both will be hosted in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

About the Programme

The Climate Justice Envoys Programme offers passionate climate advocates a chance to ensure that the perspectives of frontline communities are brought into high-level regional and global climate conversations.

As an Envoy, you will:

Represent your community and share grassroots perspectives on climate action.
Highlight stories of those most impacted by climate change.
Actively engage on social media and advocacy platforms to amplify climate justice narratives.
Contribute to the ACE Observatory and its partner networks.

Note: This is a partially funded opportunity. Selected participants must already plan to attend the events, as travel costs are not covered. The programme is designed to support and enhance the advocacy work Envoys are already leading.
