Applications are officially open for the 2025 World Congress of Science and Factual Producers (WCSFP) Global Career Accelerator Program. This fully funded opportunity is designed for emerging professionals in factual filmmaking, digital production, and creative storytelling who want to take their careers to the next level and share science, history, wildlife, and factual content with global audiences.

Formerly known as the Emerging Producer Program, this initiative has expanded to include professionals across factual media, digital platforms, social media, gaming, and multimedia storytelling. The program nurtures a diverse new generation of creators while offering unparalleled access to the international factual content industry.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the WCSFP Global Career Accelerator 2025, applicants must:

Be attending WCSFP for the first time
Work in science, history, wildlife, or factual genres (roles may include executive producer, producer, associate producer, assistant producer, or digital/social media/gaming content creator)
Demonstrate career experience and potential at a stage where attending WCSFP will provide meaningful growth
Come from underrepresented regions or voices in the factual content industry (priority given to applicants outside countries such as Australia, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, UK, and USA)
Show commitment to non-fiction media and factual storytelling
