Applications are now open for the Queen Elizabeth II Commonwealth Trust (QECT) 100 Young Leaders Awards 2026, a prestigious initiative that will honour 100 outstanding young changemakers across the Commonwealth.
Launched in celebration of what would have been Queen Elizabeth II’s 100th birthday in April 2026, this program builds on the legacy of the Queen’s Young Leaders Programme by recognizing exceptional youth who are creating meaningful social impact.
Award Focus Areas

- Environmental Sustainability
- Agriculture & Food Systems
- Health
- Inclusion
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be between 18 and 35 years old (born between April 1990 and April 2008).
- Be a citizen or permanent resident of a Commonwealth country.
- Hold a founding or senior leadership role in a social impact project, organisation, or movement.
- Demonstrate tangible community or global impact achieved over at least one year.
- Ensure that their initiative operates with integrity, legal compliance, and alignment with QECT’s values.
- Submit applications in English.
