Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be a non-Japanese citizen.
- Meet the age limits:
- Master’s: under 30 years
- Doctoral: under 35 years
- Master’s: under 30 years
- Have admission to a Japanese graduate school (Master’s or Doctoral).
- Demonstrate academic excellence and research potential.
- Show commitment to contributing to their home country after graduation.
- Have Japanese language ability (JLPT N1/N2 recommended) or the capacity to engage in studies in Japanese.
- Enroll in a program longer than 12 months.
