Open exclusively to candidates from CERN Member and Associate Member States, the QUEST program welcomes applicants from diverse fields such as Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Data Science, and even professional support areas like HR, Finance, Legal, and Procurement.
There is no application fee, and selected participants will receive generous funding covering living expenses, travel, health insurance, family allowances, and paid leave.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be nationals of CERN Member or Associate Member States, including: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Brazil, Croatia, India, Latvia, Lithuania, Pakistan, Türkiye, Ukraine, and Cyprus.
- Master’s degree holders: 2–6 years of professional experience after graduation.
- PhD holders: No more than 3 years of professional experience after graduation.
- Applicants must not have previously held a CERN fellowship or graduate contract.
