Applications are now open for the Erasmus MARIHE Scholarship 2026–2028, a fully funded two-year Master’s program supported by the European Union. The program, titled Master’s in Research and Innovation in Higher Education (MARIHE), is jointly organized by seven leading universities across Austria, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Portugal, China, and India.
The Erasmus Mundus MARIHE program allows students to study in multiple countries, gain hands-on experience through an internship, and develop a global understanding of higher education management, research, and innovation. The academic year begins in October 2026 in Austria.

Program Structure
- 1st Semester: UWK, Austria
- 2nd Semester: TAU, Finland

- 4th Semester: Thesis at one of the partner institutions (Finland, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Portugal, China, or India)
Eligibility Criteria
To apply, candidates must:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized institution
- Show a strong motivation for careers in higher education management, research, or innovation
- Demonstrate English language proficiency through one of the following tests:
- TOEFL iBT: 92
- IELTS Academic: 6.5 (no band below 5.5)
- PTE Academic: 62
- Cambridge CAE: Grade C
- Cambridge CPE: Grade C1
- TOEFL iBT: 92
English test exemption: You may be exempt if you completed your Bachelor’s, Master’s, or full secondary education in countries such as the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or EU/EEA nations.
