Applications are now open for the Bucharest Summer University 2026 in Romania. This fully funded international summer school will bring together students from around the world for a two-week cultural and academic experience in Bucharest.
The program is open to undergraduate, master’s, and PhD students from all academic backgrounds. Participants will have the opportunity to explore Romania, connect with students from different countries, and attend lectures, workshops, cultural activities, and trips.
The 2026 edition will focus on the theme:
“Leaders of Tomorrow in International Business and Economics.”
About Bucharest Summer University
Bucharest Summer University is organized annually by the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, one of the leading universities in Romania and Southeastern Europe.
The program combines academic learning with cultural exchange and gives participants the chance to discover Romania’s history, traditions, and tourist attractions while building international connections.

Scholarship Categories

Fully Funded Scholarship Benefits
Selected participants under the fully funded category will receive:
- Free accommodation
- Three meals per day
- Domestic transportation
- Weekend trips and excursions
- Access to courses and cultural activities
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Bucharest Summer University 2026, applicants must:
- Be an international student from any country
- Be currently enrolled in undergraduate, master’s, or PhD studies
- Meet passport and travel requirements for Romania
